Have you ever thought about the importance of listening to elders? In fact, children need to listen to them for several reasons. First, they are our first teachers who teach us how to love, how to care, how to forgive and how to accept. Second, elders have more knowledge and wisdom than their children. If children learn from their wisdom, their life quality will improve. Third, by facing many ups and downs in life, they have gained valuable experience that is worth respecting and learning from.
Another important point we can learn from the elders is about our heritage and culture. This helps us to be proud of our past. Knowing about our traditional beliefs and culture brings us a sense of belonging, identity of our past and the responsibility to protect them for our future generations. To add more, our parents have learned, created or have been brought up with a set of moral values and principles which have made them successful in life. Gaining knowledge of these factors can create a set of guidelines that are important for their children’s life. In conclusion, the experience that elders have gained through years is a valuable treasure for next generation.

۴۲) درست (True). متن می‌گوید: «by facing many ups and downs in life, they have gained valuable experience» یعنی «آن‌ها (بزرگ‌ترها) با روبه‌رو شدن با فراز و نشیب‌های زیاد زندگی، تجربهٔ ارزشمندی به دست آورده‌اند.» («ups and downs» = فراز و نشیب، خوشی‌ها و سختی‌ها.) جملهٔ سؤال همین را به شکل مجهول می‌گوید: «تجربهٔ ارزشمند از راه روبه‌رو شدن با فراز و نشیب‌های زندگی به دست می‌آید.»
۴۳) نادرست (False). جملهٔ سؤال می‌گوید بزرگ‌ترها دربارهٔ میراث و فرهنگ ما اطلاعاتی ندارند. اما متن می‌گوید: «Another important point we can learn from the elders is about our heritage and culture.» یعنی «نکتهٔ مهم دیگری که می‌توانیم از بزرگ‌ترها یاد بگیریم دربارهٔ میراث و فرهنگمان است.» پس آن‌ها در این باره اطلاعات دارند و جمله نادرست است.
۴۴) متن می‌گوید: «If children learn from their wisdom, their life quality will improve.» یعنی «اگر بچه‌ها از خرد آن‌ها (بزرگ‌ترها) یاد بگیرند، کیفیت زندگی‌شان بهتر می‌شود.» پس: «By learning from elders’ wisdom, children will improve their life quality.» (یا «the quality of their life» که همان معنی را دارد.)
