The first wind machine was in Manjil, Iran, in 2001. The machine had three blades (wide parts) that moved in the wind, and could use the kinetic energy of the wind to make electricity. This wind machine was necessary for Iran because it gave renewable energy, unlike ways that used fossil fuels. It also helped make less pollution and carbon gases. Running the wind machine was not easy. It needed careful planning and engineering knowledge. Engineers put it in a place with strong wind. Manjil was a good place because it had open land that was always windy. After the first wind machine, more have been made in Iran. These machines have added a lot to the country's energy-making and made the country less dependent on nonrenewable resources. In short, the first wind machine in Iran was a big step in energy production. It produced lots of energy and made less pollution. Its success has made more wind machines in Iran.

۵۰) b (False) — ۵۱) b (False) — ۵۲) a (ran very easily) — ۵۳) d (wind machine)

The machine had three blades (wide parts) that moved in the wind, and could use the kinetic energy of the wind to make electricity.

(Manjil was a good place) because it had open land that was always windy.

اما متن می‌گوید: «After the first wind machine, more have been made in Iran.»

توربین منجیل از انرژی جنبشی باد برق می‌ساخت: «could use the kinetic energy of the wind to make electricity»، و متن آن را مقابل روش‌هایی می‌گذارد که سوخت فسیلی مصرف می‌کنند: «unlike ways that used fossil fuels».

۵۲) گزینهٔ a. متن می‌گوید: «Running the wind machine was not easy.»

جمله‌ها را کنار هم می‌گذاریم: «Running the wind machine was not easy. It needed careful planning and engineering knowledge.»

۵۴) جواب در جملهٔ دوم متن است: «The machine had three blades (wide parts) that moved in the wind, and could use the kinetic energy of the wind to make electricity.»

۵۵) جواب در این جمله است: «Manjil was a good place because it had open land that was always windy.»

راهنمای تصحیح رسمی جواب ۵۵ را «because it had open land and that always windy» چاپ کرده که غلط تایپی است؛ این‌جا جمله با همان شکل درست متن نوشته شده است.
