Everyone wants to feel appreciated. When someone notices our attempt and says a kind word, it makes us feel happy and important. Appreciation is the feeling of being grateful for what others do for us. It is a very powerful emotion that can change our relationships and our daily life.
My grandmother is the kindest person I know. She always thanks my mother for cooking delicious meals. She thanks my father for driving her to the doctor. She even thanks me for bringing her a glass of water or reading a book to her. She believes that no act of kindness is too small to be noticed.
At school, our teacher reminds us to appreciate each other every day. We have a special board on the wall where we can write notes of thanks to our classmates. When someone helps us with homework, shares his/her lunch, or simply listens to our problems, we write a thank-you note for him/her. This simple activity has made our classroom a very friendly, warm, and peaceful place.
Appreciation does not have to be a big action. A happy smile, a warm hug, a simple "thank you," or a small gift can show that we care. When we appreciate others, it makes our relationship with family and friends stronger and our life more wonderful. I try to say "thank you" every single day because I truly believe that it makes a positive difference in the world.

۵۴) smiling and hugging.
(act of kindness = کار محبتآمیز؛ too small to be noticed = کوچکتر از آنکه دیده شود.) جواب را با She believes (یا She thinks) شروع میکنیم:
She believes that no act of kindness is too small to be noticed.
۵۶) جملهٔ «She even thanks me for bringing her a glass of water or reading a book to her» میگوید مادربزرگ از نویسنده تشکر میکند، چون نویسنده برایش یک لیوان آب میآورد یا برایش کتاب میخواند.
She brings her a glass of water or reads a book to her.
طبق راهنمای تصحیح، در سؤالهای ۵۵ و ۵۶ هر بخش از جواب نیم نمره دارد: در ۵۵ «no act of kindness is» و «too small to be noticed»، و در ۵۶ «brings her a glass of water» و «reads a book to her».
